Year 5 had a visit from Rev Jackson this week. He worked with the children to explore our key question for this half term – What did Jesus do to save human beings?

They thought about why Jesus died and how Christians remember Jesus’ death and resurrection throughout the year. They spoke about how Jesus’ death was not the end, and that he was resurrected on Easter Sunday. Finally they came up with this answer; He sacrificed himself to save us from our sins.
