School Admissions
St James Junior School is a Church of England Voluntary Controlled School and we welcome all applicants aged 7 to 11 wherever they may live. Although St James' CofE Junior School has a designated catchment area, we also have a number of children who attend from surrounding areas. Applying for a place for your child couldn't be easier.
Due to the continued success of both our Junior school and our feeder infant school and nursery, The St James' family are very open to welcome visits to the school by families who may be interested in applying, just give us a call on 01946 695311 and we can make an appointment for you to come and see both schools.
We are proud that over the 8 years, all children attending St James Infant School continue their education with us in Year 3. Increasingly we also accept places from other Infant schools wishing to join us in Keystage 2. All admissions for Year 3 starters are arranged through Cumbria County Council School Admissions Team, follow the link below
