Year 5 English - WW2 Role-Play For Writing

Class: English Year: 2021 - 2022

After watching an animation based on the D-Day landings, we have been using lots of different techniques to help our writing.  We have used: See-Think-Feel, the five senses, varying sentence openers, and today we used role-play to get into the minds of these brave soldiers.

Next, we will pull all the techniques together to write some letters home from the battlefront.
