Year 5 English - Dramatic Reading Of Our Story Openers
Class: Mr Carruthers - Derwentwater Year: 2020 - 2021
We have been writing to entertain in Year 5. After watching the short film "Ruin", we created our story openers which were dramatic and descriptive. Our main focus was to vary our sentence openers and use powerful and descriptive vocabulary.
We went in to the hall to rehearse and read our stories to an audience, so we could get a feel for how the dramatic features worked in our writing.
