Year 3/4 football champions!

Class: Mrs Pickering - Bassenthwaite Year: 2021 - 2022

A superb team of year 3/4 boys stormed a county wide football tournament on Friday. After a 0-0 start, our amazing team won the next three matches 5-0, 3-0 and 7-0 to make it through to the quarter finals. We were 2-0 winners in the quarter finals and 3-0 winners in The semi-finals. A very tense final ended 0-0 but the boys held their nerve to win the penalty shoot out.  There were too many fantastic performances to name any individuals... it was a superb team performance.
