WW2 re-enactment

Class: History Year: 2021 - 2022

On Monday we thought about what it would be like in school if an air-raid siren went off. We decided this would be like a fire drill, ie line up, walk sensibly etc.

We used drama techniques to role play an air-raid evacuation. We used the lodge as our shelter. The children were very excited but also nervous as they had to wait for the long siren to sound, then they knew it was safe to go back. Afterwards we wrote postcards home of our experience.
