This week in Science, we have started to explore the properties of different materials. We firstly defined words that we would use to describe the properties of particular materials such as durable, flexible, translucent and conductive to name a few. We then conducted our own test on a variety of materials to see what properties they had. We tested the conductivity of materials by attaching them to an electrical circuit, we used a magnet to see if they were magnetic and finally shone a torch on each material to decide if they were transparent, translucent, opaque or reflective.
