Jass visit to the Harbour

Class: Mrs Pickering - Bassenthwaite Year: 2018 - 2019

On Monday class 1 braved the wind and rain to visit Whitehaven harbour as part of the JASS project. Once down there the class took part in rafting, orienteering and bread making using lemonade to make the bread!

Despite the weather conditions all children enjoyed each activity and were amazed at how good their bread and marshmallows tasted as they were cooked on an open fire on the beach.
