Mr Carruthers gets his report!! (Reading Skills)

Class: English Year: 2019 - 2020

In English, we’ve been working on our reading skills.  We use VIPERS to improve our enjoyment and skills in reading.  After we were tested on our reading skills.....it was time to turn the tables on Mr Carruthers!!

We used L2L to review what we knew about VIPERS and reading skills then we got Mr Carruthers to answer some questions and we all observed him.  We wrote a report on him and gave him his feedback.  Turns out he is ok at reading VIPERS, but he has some improvements to make (mistakes are the secret ingredient to success).  It also turns out that the children all make fantastic teachers (although Miss Hodgson and Mr Cullnean were rather scary).  There are some pictures below of the new teachers giving Mr Carruthers his report!
