Letters from Downing Street and to England

Class: PE Year: 2023 - 2024

You may remember recently that Year 5 wrote letters to the Prime Minister.  Well we received a letter back from Downing Street! (See picture below).  Sometimes writing letters can be an amazing experience.

We decided to write letters to Gareth Southgate and the England Team.  The children in Year 5 picked a player, or the manager, or the whole team, and wrote to them wishing them good luck for the final and to say thanks for an amazing summer!

We might not receive a letter back this time (but you never know, we just might!) but either way, we just love the thought of the whole squad and England staff seeing our letters and drawings.  We are hoping it will bring them luck on Sunday!
