Islam Guest Speaker

Today we welcomed Imran Kotwal to work with our classes and share his experience as a follower of Islam. The day started with a great assembly teaching about the 5 Pillars of Islam and sharing his collection of pictures and objects around his faith. The day continued with some Q & A sessions and a workshop with our Year 5 & 6 children on the 25 prophets of Islam. It was great to work with Imran, the children really engaged with Imran’s style of teaching and were able to share a lot of understanding from their RE lessons alongside lots of new learning. Thanks again to Imran for coming to Whitehaven to share your expertise.
