Derwentwater - Venus Fly Trap

Class: Mr Carruthers - Derwentwater Year: 2023 - 2024

We learned about Venus Fly Traps' adaptations, in our evolution topic.

We decided to buy one for the class, but unfortunately it was really the wrong time of year (no flies!)

We gave it the best chance we could, but it has started dying off 🥹.....so before it died, we decided to trigger one or two of the traps, to see them in action (we're going to get another plant in the summer term when there will be lots of juicy flies around!)
