Class: Church Links & RE Year: 2019 - 2020

The assembly was about peace, Tyce read a bible passage to the school then we looked at the different peace symbols. We listened to peaceful music which helped us to reflect on how we can show peace in the world. Alfie.

Committees response;

This assembly was very interesting and it helped us to understand the meaning of peace and howto show peace to others and ourselves. We also found the different symbols of peace interesting.

Questions;

Can you name 2 symbols of peace?

Matthew: The dove and the peace sign.

Why do you think the dove is a symbol of peace?
