Class 6 Sea Bin visit

Class: Miss A Pool - Buttermere Year: 2021 - 2022

Class 6 had an enjoyable afternoon at the Whitehaven Harbour Youth Project. We learned how the sea bins work in our harbour to keep it clean and free from litter. Did you know that each year the sea bins collect the equivalent of 40 skips full of rubbish! The children then made collages using some of the (cleaned) plastic that has been collected in the sea bins.
