Class 6 - Music - Rodeo

Class: Miss A Pool - Buttermere Year: 2019 - 2020

We started off the lesson by listening to 'Rodeo - Hoedown' by Aaron Copland. After listening to the music we talked about how the Hoedown was a competitive dance and that cowboys would show off their skills by challenging rivals to copy their moves. Although we had limited space we came up with a short dance routine to fit 8 beats. We ended the lesson by having a dance competition.
