Class 4 Shadow puppets and reflections

In our science lessons we have been learning about light.
We learnt that light blocked by an opaque object creates a shadow. Using dark card we created our own shadow puppets and explored what happened when we put them in the light .

In another lesson we explored reflections. We enjoyed trying to be the reflection of our table partner who was pulling silly faces before talking about how reflections are created. Using mirrors we tried to do some mirror writing, it was much trickier than we thought but we all gave it a good go.
