Class 4 - Maryport Visit

Class: Mrs Pickering - Bassenthwaite Year: 2021 - 2022

We all enjoyed the visit to Maryport yesterday.

First, we visited the aquarium. We looked at lots of different creatures found in the rivers, seas and oceans around the world. We read the information posters and had the chance to ask people who worked there our questions. 

After the aquarium we enjoyed an ice-cream and a play on Shiver me Timbers before lunch.

Our last activity involved a walk around the harbour and Marina. We completed some questions about the environment around us. Some of us wondered how the fishermen brought back their catch as there was no water in the harbour?
