Class 4 - Art History - Abram Games
Class: Mr Carruthers - Derwentwater Year: 2019 - 2020
In Class 4, we have been learning about art history. Abram Games created posters of persuasion for the government during World War 2. We learned all about his work and his life. His mantra was “Maximum Meaning Minimum Means” and he kept his art and his posters very simplistic. He used a lot of basic geometry in his posters which adds to the appeal of them. Here is some of our work in progress, in the style of Abram Games.
