Class 3 Mandalas

Class: Miss L Pool - Windermere Year: 2018 - 2019

This term Year 5 and 6 have been exploring the Buddhist faith. This week they explored Mandalas, found out why and how they are used and used the Ipads to research patterns. They then had a go at drawing and designing their own using compasses and ensuring their patterns were symmetrical. While they were colouring the children felt calm and relaxed.
