Class 3, advent a time for reflection

Class: Miss L Pool - Windermere Year: 2019 - 2020

Today we used mentimeter to create a word cloud for things the children think about when they hear the word advent. 

We then Explored a series of pictures showing the holy family. The children used learning to learn strategies to discuss each picture. They then went to another group to talk about their work and magpie any good ideas. They all came to the conclusion that each picture showed Mary and Jesus. The aim of the lesson was to think about how Jesus us for everyone not just one niche group. The children then had a go at drawing their own version of the holy family.
