Bassenthwaite- African Dance 1

Class: Mrs Pickering - Bassenthwaite Year: 2022 - 2023

Dancing is something some people find difficult.  Being confident enougn to move in unfamiliar ways doesnt feel natural so it was nice to be able to ease oursleves in during our first lesson. We warmed up with a range of streches before THe Cha Cha Slide got us finding the beat.

We looked at some simple steps and tried putting them to the beat. As i joined in i didnt get many photos but we are looking forward to seeing where this unit of work takes us and I'll try to include more from our next lessons.
