Backwards maths

Lesson: Numeracy

Class: Mrs Pickering - Bassenthwaite Year: 2020 - 2021

Today, Mr Tyson's maths group worked in the hall to complete some perimeter challenges as well as a times table relay race. 
 

Firstly, children from classes 4, 5 and 6 competed against each other to correctly identify multiples of six, seven and eight and stick them in the correct column on a table. The winning class will be announced on Monday! 
 

The second task and main part of the lesson was for the children to work with their table partner to find and photograph perimeter questions. The photographs then had to be uploaded to a Seesaw activity which gave the children the answers... all they had to do was correctly match the questions to the given answers.
