18.7.19 Collective worship committee - church colours

Class: Church Links & RE Year: 2018 - 2019

Rev Jackson led the assembly today. He told us about the church's year and all about the different seasons. He explained at the church's year begins at Advent and the colour linked to that is purple. 

He showed us his collection of stoles and explained what they showed. He also ecplained and showed us how each colour is represented in the church's year. 

Advebt  - purple

Christmas - White and gold

Epiphany - White and gold

Lent - Purple

Easter - White and gold

Penticost - Red

Trinity - Green.
