This week in school is Art Week! Today we started our learning by looking at lots of different space related images. We evaluated an image discussing what we could see and trying to understand why the image was created by the artist. This was really interesting as it linked well to our Space topic in science and we discussed the 'Space Race' and how this was became infiltrated into daily life at the time. After this, we then went on to sorting images into different groups and looking at the different ways in which each image had been created. We then chose 4 different mediums to recreate a section of one of the images in different ways. A fun filled afternoon and some really impressive and creative artwork. We definitely have some budding artists among us! ???‍??‍?
