Uniform
Our school uniform is a royal blue sweatshirt, cardigan or hooded top worn with a white or royal blue polo shirt (logo optional) and grey trousers, shorts or skirts. Shoes should be all black shoes/trainers (no sports logos or multicolour). Mules, flip flops or high heeled shoes should not be worn in school.

In summer children may wear blue gingham dresses and suitable sandals.
Outdoor Clothing - Outdoor clothing should be suitable and appropriate to the school environment, the playground and the weather. The outdoor environment is used to support teaching acrss the curriculmn and so children should bring an outdoor coat every day.
Brightly coloured hair dyes should not be applied during school term times.
Jewellery - a plain studded earring is permitted. For safety reasons, no looped or dangly earrings or any other jewellery is allowed in school.
P.E. Kit -
At St James’ children come into school on their allocated PE days in full PE kit. St James’ School PE kit is ordered through the school and is a Polo shirt with the school logo with matching shorts or skorts. Children can also wear plain navy or black leggings or tracksuit bottoms in colder weather.
