Senhouse Roman Museum visit

Lesson: History

Class: Mrs Pickering - Bassenthwaite Year: 2019 - 2020

We enjoyed a visit to The Senhouse Roman Museum in Maryport. It helped enrich our work we have been doing on Roman Britain. We had chance to look at the informative displays and Roman artefacts, before going to the top of the replica watchtower. We listened to a talk about what life was like as a Roman soldier and made our own Roman artefact from clay.
