Class: Mr Carruthers - Derwentwater Year: 2020 - 2021
We learned all about Henri Rousseau then about his style of art and his famous paintings.
We tried to recreate "Surprised" and "Equatorial Jungle".
Henri used layers and often hid animals in his paintings of jungles..... we used actual leaves and other natural foliage we gathered (but not actual animals) in our recreations of his work.
