Class 1 - Making an Ancient Maya hot chocolate

Today we used a recipe and adapted it to make our own versions of an Ancient Maya hot chocolate drink. We talked about how only the rich and noble members of Maya society drank this chocolatey treat. We experimented with vanilla syrup, cinnamon and chilli to create a Mayan hot chocolate. After this we designed a name and label for our drinks which included some Mayan hieroglyphics.
