Buttermere - Pentatonic Scales

Folk music is often passed down from generation to generation. This afternoon we have learnt that Pentatonic scales are made up from 5 notes, and can often be found in folk music. We tried playing a pentatonic scale on a glockenspiel and then created our own pentatonic scales. The children were incredible this afternoon and showed lots of respect to thier partners by taking turns and following instructions.
