Day 2 of our art week was focused on drawing our native British animals using charcoal. The children produced some lovely animal drawings, using the charcoal to smudge and create shade and pattern. We discussed the materials that stone age people would have used to create thier paintings and how hard it would have been to draw these in the darkness of caves.
