Bassenthwaite- Junk Castles

Class: Design and Technology Year: 2022 - 2023

In our DT week we have been designing and making castles. 
First we learned about the different features of a castle and considered different kinds of castles that exist. We all love bouncy castles, but we know they're no good to as a place of defence.

We considered the different shapes used to create a castle and had a go at using nets to make some of the 3D shapes you may find. 
Designing and making our castles was lots of fun and we hope you agree our final pieces were pretty good.
