Welcome to Class 1’s page, I’m Miss Pool and I am so excited to be teaching Year 5/6 this year. We have a busy term ahead with lots of fun topics planned!

Our PE lessons this half term will be on a Tuesday, so your child should come to school in their full PE kit on this day. We will be going outside for lessons, so please make sure your child is prepared for whatever weather we may be experiencing.

For your information...

-Homework will be set on Atom every Thursday and is to be submitted by the following Wednesday. This is also when we do our spelling test.

-Regular reading at home is encouraged and we encourage all children to have their reading record signed by a parent/carer at least 3 times per week.

-Children also have access to Times Tables Rockstars and are encouraged to use this learning platform at home.
