Harbour Free Flow Competition

Class: Art Year: 2018 - 2019

The children have been busy with their entries for a local competiion supporting the work of Whitehaven Marina.  The children were asked to design an easily-recognisable flag design that would be used during times of 'free-flow'. If successful, the flag will be made using the children's design and raised by the lock keeper when the harbour has water flowing through it. This will mean that the gate across the lock will be closed.

The children have done an excellent job in their designs. We have selected 6 school-winners that will be posted on to the Marina along with the other entries. Good luck kids!
