Class 4 - It’s life Mr C, but not as we know it!

Class: Mr Carruthers - Derwentwater Year: 2019 - 2020

Our science research is complete.  The results were outstanding and we learned a lot.

The dry bread (our control) had very little life growing.

The protein powder bread had the early signs of life.

The wet bread had so much mould that we think there may have been life growing on top of the mould!

The antibacterial handwash bread, although as wet as the water bread, had zero life at all.

What conclusions can we draw from this experiment?  We found out that mould is in the kingdom of life named “Fungi”

Be warned: the photos below are hard to stomach, on the water bread.
