Class 4 - Experimenting with air resistance

Lesson: Science

Class: Mr Carruthers - Derwentwater Year: 2018 - 2019

Class 4 have been designing and experimenting, in science.  We decided to use air resistance as the force to test today.  We've already learned about forces and how they act upon an object (even when stationary) and how we can represent them on diagrams with directional and size-relative arrows.

In our science lesson, we learned about "independent variables", "dependent variables" and "control variables".  Then we began to make parachutes that differed only by their independent variable.

Here's some photos of our amazing scientific minds at work!
