Today we practised adding two 4 digit numbers with one exchange. We used the place value charts to help and got used to exchanging 10 ones for a ten, 10 tens for a hundred or 10 hundreds for a thousand. Then we practised using column addition in our books. We also enjoyed writing addition calculations for our partners to solve.
